What do we have to offer you?
Down's Syndrome North East endeavours to provide opportunities for its members in the following ways:-
Providing contact with other parents of children with Down's Syndrome.
Promoting fund-raising activities, events and organizing meetings with a variety of topics and speakers.
Offering parents advice and help on educational, health and social matters related to their child, including problems associated with allowances, benefits, and special needs provision.
Establishing an annually elected committee which enables Down's Syndrome North East to move forward and work for its members.
Down's Syndrome North East has two parachutes which members can borrow for a donation.
We also have a library of books, videos and DVDs for members to borrow.
